Shopping with someone else’s money!

Jul 16, 2013

Today, children from around our community took a trip to Target to buy school supplies. They were able to purchase items such as school uniforms, glue, paper, pencils, and anything you can imagine a child would need for school. The Salvation Army provided each child with a Target gift card in which the purchases were made. Any balance left over on the card was given back to The Salvation Army for future use. The children had a blast and couldn’t wait to show off all of their awesome school supplies. A little girl named Kacie couldn’t wait to show me her new Disney Princess’ lunchbox. What a joy to see the happiness in the eyes of the children. We are definitely doing the most good here.
